This room tends to be overlooked for wall art, probably because every time we are in it, it just reminds us of all the laundry we have to do, then hang out and then fold...iron....put away and then repeat. But it doesn't have to be as boring as it sounds! These pieces for the wall will help change your view of laundry altogether! (well we can only hope it does!) Bring a bit of humour to the laundry with a wall decal like the above one from New York Vinyl. Because some days this saying is 100% accurate. Keep the chuckles going with this Box Sign from Near & Deer. I am sure we can all relate to this one! Keep track of those single socks while they look for their perfect pair with this wooden sign from Creative Expressionsz. Don't want something laundry specific, why not add some colourful wallpaper so every time you step into the laundry, it's a bit more fun than the task at hand. Do you have any laundry ideas for the wall?

Located in the UK, so living in Aus, love the option they have for some of their items in purchasing the digital download. There is something for everyone and every room too! Here are some of my picks from their range: I am currently going through the process of updating my dining room gallery room and was on the hunt for some inspiration for a new layout. Now to decide which idea to use... This look is great if you are on a budget as you can scrawl through your local op shops to see what frames and accessories you can find. Create a clean line and place frames above and below it to get the below look from The Classy Woman. Can't decide on what photos to use? Use brightly coloured frames as the gallery wall itself! Go for a grid gallery wall with the use of the same large frames perfectly organised like the below. Use picture ledges to mix and layer different size art pieces and eliminate the use of multiple hooks. Or hang your prints, kids artwork, magazine clippings, whatever inspires you, on these gallery art rails from The Land of Nod. Break up one image into segments and frame separately for the below effect. Which one is your favourite?
Think outside the box and use some of the below items as an alternative to the usual wall art. Find a shallow and decorative fruit bowl or woven basket to add some texture to the wall. Use as a complimentary piece to a gallery wall or make it the main attraction like the below. Don't want to wait until Summer to get yourself a Roundie towel? Buy one now and use it all year round! Hang it on your walls during the Winter months to remind you Summer is around the corner! We love the below design from The Raw Co, Use pencils to add some colour to the wall. Organise in a rainbow effect, go ombre or pick colours that compliment your current colour palette (though that may mean a lot of packs of pencils using only a few each time but if it's in the name of art...) Hang your favourite designer item or your child's favourite piece of clothing on the wall once they are grown out of it. Ahhh the memories! Accompany with a non backed frame to get the below look. Great idea from Nostalgia-Rose Interiors. Have you used any non typical items on your walls?
It's so cold right now - said every Melbourian ever. I don't even want to think how they are going in Tasmania right now! All together now, let's dream of a tropical place and if we open our eyes and we aren't there, let's at least look at the bliss of a warm paradise right on our walls. This wallpaper from The Wall Sticker Company is removable and movable so you change up the room you want that refreshing feel in. Are you feeling any warmer yet??
Has anyone else got a Fuji Instax camera? I am loving mine for those instant memories that aren't posted on any form of social media, so where's the next place to post them? On the wall of course! Here's a few big ideas for those mini photos. Share the love! Create a heart shape gallery wall of Instax pics or Polaroids like this pic from Society6. Use hooks and string to create the below look for the wall. Go nuts in creating any shape you feel and add photos in random places using clips. (An alternative if not a fan of hooks is to create the shape using washi tape and blu-tack the photos in place) One frame fits all. Use a large frame to show all your mini photos in a more orderly fashion. Or pick your faves and frame them up in a smaller size. I went down the DIY route for my Instax display creating a tree branch wall hanging. After having some left over pom poms and puppies who like to bring in outside garden pieces inside, I created the below. Still a bit of tweaking to do, though happy with the overall look. This is definitely an easy one to try at home as well! How have you displayed your Instax or Polaroids in your home?

If not in my wardrobe, at least I can bring high fashion to my walls. Here is how: For the Mini fashionistas, the most stylish bunny around is Fifi Lapin. Wardrobe envy! One the guys of the house will give the nod of approval too as well I think! And who can we thank for our interest in fashion? Your mother, grandmother probably or maybe even best friend! Whoever it was, these foil print Chanel no.5 designs from XO Prints are a stylish way to update their walls and pay homage to the mademoiselle herself. Has everyone seen Jurassic World yet? If you grew up in the 90's like me and was a Jurassic Park fan, then I am sure have...twice in fact! Dinosaurs are definitely something we have seen and will keep seeing for decorating and styling kids rooms but what about the big kids? In wall decor, you can see below how dinosaurs can be for all ages. Yep, not just for the kids! Obviously there is a lot out there for the little ones and these cute wall stickers are an adorable way to create a colourful story on the wall of a newborns nursery. The below super cute set is available at The Wall Sticker Company. Though once they get a bit older and tell you they are too grown up for the cutesy stuff they might want something more like this... a T-Rex pinboard for the wall. Available from Down That Little Lane, they also have some great dinosaur themed wall prints as well. For the teens and young adults the simple movie poster is a cool wall art addition to any bedroom. Movie posters stuck on their bedroom wall with blu-tack is very much a rite of passage. Well that might be an exaggeration but we've all been there. Now it's time to decide if you go with the new movie poster, the old school poster or keep it retro with these choices below from All Posters. One for the adults, try this wooden panel art as a feature piece, perfect for the dining room as a conversation starter. Handmade in the USA with a rustic vibe these are available in a variety of colours from Right Grain Decor. And don't forget the older generation. A cute birth announcement for their mantel will be something they will brag about to their friends everything they see them! Below available at etsy store MemorEasy Keepsakes. What do you guys think? is this a trend you think is Rawwrr-some for your kids or your own walls?
I am in the beginning of setting up the office to begin this adventure and have been looking for some different ways to vamp up the walls. There are heaps of ideas floating around so have shared a few of my favourite variations below. Plan your months ahead using large white boards as your calendar like the team at Mister Zimi. This one gets big ticks from my type A personality! And also useful coming into the new financial year! Want a more on trend look - try a monochrome look like the below insta from @theworkplacestylist. So simple yet effective. So much office envy in one account too - Definitely one to follow on Instagram! If colour is more your thing (like myself) and you love a bright pop or two, use a mix of your favourite artwork and accessories on shelving to get your creative juices flowing! That way you can add and subtract as your inspiration changes. Or keep it simple with a few motivational quotes to help you remember why you are sitting at that desk in the first place. Dream & Hustle! I love love love these gold foil prints from Miss Poppy Design you can also get the mug to match! Now to decide how to style my own walls. Hmmmm..
